Here is the insane part of this twisted logic. Using this insane twisted logic the US should have never investigated the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and just accepted the Saudi's version.

You claim a political stunt. There has been pressure from the family and congress to conduct an investigation.
It makes perfect sense to wait until after the US mid-terms to launch this.

If the killing had only occurred recently (within the past few months), it might have made sense to wait until after the elections.  The fact that so much time passed without any mention of an investigation makes the timing look very political.
 
Why reopen this while Israel is working to form a new government?  If waiting until after the US midterm elections was logical, wouldn't waiting until there is a new government in place in Israel be at least as logical?  How can they expect cooperation from a government which is still in the process of being formed?
