DL235 - 9/27/22 - Diverted to CDG
« on: September 28, 2022, 03:42:59 AM »
The nonstop flight from TLV to JFK Motzei Rosh Hashanah diverted & landed in CDG due to a baby didn't feel well.

It seems like the flight has now timed out & passenger need to be rebooked on other flight from  CDG to NYC

Have a family member on the flight, been up helping her to try to navigate the system. Delta did not offer any type of assistance or staff at the gate.

When will airlines learn how to handle these operational delays ??

My brother got a $175 voucher from Delta for this. Is he entitled to get more?

Quote
We know you didn’t plan to land anywhere but New York-JFK when your Flight 235 departed. Unfortunately, due to a customer medical issue onboard, the decision was made to divert to Paris. While attempting to ready your plane to continue, the flight crew reached the maximum number of hours they can work in a day, extending the delay. This was not the experience we wanted you to have with us, and I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused to your travel plans.

You’re Important to Us
As a goodwill gesture, an Electronic Transportation Credit Voucher (ETCV) in the amount of $175 has been issued in your name. The voucher number and terms and conditions will be sent to you shortly. Please keep them as they are required for redemption. When you are ready to use your voucher, you can redeem your voucher by making your reservation online at delta.com. You can also contact Reservations at 800-221-1212 with your name, flight number and flight date.
