I'm impressed they were able to roll out this sort of software "fix" for their promo code conundrum so quickly. Unless this was planned all along?

They might have had a built in system to prioritize customers with higher ratings, and just ranked promo-code customers lower in that system.

That would just make the scandal bigger. Depending on how things run under the hood, it’s possible they already had all the pieces in place from before.

I just tried on 2 accounts, both have promo credit but on 2nd account I didn't use any credit yet.
First account said too high demand, 2nd account shows me a taxi

Try hard stopping both apps, then try them in reverse order

He meant since the promos went viral. I dont think they had such extended wait times prior to coupons.
