The point is that "open season" on Jews or minorities implies that they are being targeted because they are Jewish or a minority. The perp being of the same race doesn't diminish the crime. However, listing those crimes in a thread meant to highlight the
targeting of minorities blunts and distracts from the point you're trying to make.
I will say that just because the perp is a minority themselves, doesn't mean the victim's race isn't being targeted. We don't distinguish between Black, Asian, Hispanic, or White perps when the victim is Jewish, and we shouldn't view anti-Asian or anti-Black targeted violence any differently. The only point that can possibly be made by the number of minority perps is that racism isn't exclusively a White problem, like some in the media would have us believe.
Also important to note... sometimes crime is just crime. Criminals are people, too. Just like there are upstanding citizens who don't see race and just see people, there are plenty of criminals who don't see color, just opportunity.
