I had a Citi CC bill due 1/14.  I scheduled a payment to be made from my Bofa checking account on 1/13 to be safe.  When I was in my Bofa checking account today (the one that the payment was scheduled to be made from) I saw that my balance had not gone down since before the payment and freaked out thinking my CC bill would be overdue without having made the minimum payment, but my Citi CC online says "CLICK-TO-PAY PAYMENT, THANK YOU" and says that the payment posted on 1/13, but as of 1/15 the available balance in my checking account remains unchanged, and no money has been deducted for the bill that has been paid.

Is it just me, or does this sound really wired??!!

Was it a push or pull from BOA?

Sounds normal to me. I've never had a cc company pull the funds on the day of payment.  It usually happens the next business day. - which in your case hasn't happened yet. ( next business day will be Tuesday - tomorrow is MLK day.)

(if i understand the q and terminology, it was probably a pull)
I scheduled it through Citi not BOA.

Then what you seen is pretty normal. If you scheduled it from BOA it would have been deducted on the 13th from BOA.
