Canon Camera Says "Memory Card Locked"

I wonder if anyone can help;

Canon Camera keeps on saying "Memory Card Locked" even when the switch is unlocked?

Push the lock to make sure it is fully unlocked. The locks are often very weak, carefully feel if the internal mechanism is sliding as well. Try a different card does it have an issue or only with this card. Is this a micro SD adapter try swapping the card into a different adapter.

ehh. He already checked that it was unlocked, it is very common for the switch to break. If it is breaking the data may need to be transferred off, if someone tightly pushes the switch it can break and make an easy transfer into an expensive hassle

Aka get your card stuck in the camera.

If your card is saying locked when it isn't, you have a crappy and/or very old card. Time for a new good one, they're crazy cheap these days.
