Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal

Chase UR Travel portal is not working when trying to book any round trip tickets, only one ways, anyone else experiencing this issue?

If I booked a trip on Ultimate Rewards a flight and I want to cancel within 24 hours will the points get put back right away or do I need to call for that? Before clicking cancel on the website it says that it might take two billing Cycles for the points

I want to change dates so It seems like I need to cancel 1st. Need to make sure points get put back right away

Trying to book a flight on aa basic economy through Chase - but no basic economy fares are showing up?  Only main cabin...   (In general my experience with the new chase travel portal has been horrible - had a problem booking a same day flight about a month ago and live agents are almost as bad as lifemiles or turkish... )   Is there any workaround to book the basic economy tix on AA online through Chase?  If not - is there any "higher level" agent that one can get when calling Chase like there used to be?

As a followup  - I called Chase travel and the agent couldn't figure out how to book basic economy on AA either (you can see basic on United and apparently delta ) - will try another agent today - but pretty frustrating...  We fly AA basic all the time and this is an effective devaluation for me of UR

Just noticed the same for JetBlue. Blue basic is not bookable on the UR portal.

How can I get my ticket number? Not showing on Chase portal and Turkish won’t allow me to manage my reservation without the number (PNR isn’t enough).

chase ended up giving me the ticket numbers after getting thru to a supervisor

Yes.
It’s basically dependent on the good will of property. You’d need to call chase travel and ask them to contact the property on your behalf. Good luck!

Anyone know if you can book a property with cash through the portal, and then call to switch it to using points when you have enough points to cover?

I would have the points well in advance of the date of check in.

My experience is that the points are back very quickly, within a few minutes.

On expedia they have a lot of airbnb type houses now under hotels but they don’t show up when searching in the chase portal. Is there any way to book them with chase?

Even Chase doesn't want you to fly Spirit . I believe you can still call Chase Travel and book it with UR points over the phone. I've done it before but I don't remember if it was Expedia or cxLoyalty handling the back end for Chase Travel at the time.

the chase rep told me, that since May they have been having issues that reservations with Spirit and Frontier have not been getting ticketed. So for the time being they are not booking with Spirit or Frontier

Generally, a lot of tickets are not bookable online that you'll see on the airline website. You also can't book for under 18 without an adult. Multiple incidents where the rep found a flight, went to book it and came back and told me it disappeared. To their credit the same tickets are not available through Amex travel online, so I guess they're just not released in the same way, but way too many hours on the phone with them
