Yes but I shouldn't need to word something perfectly right to get an answer that's not the exact opposite of what I need.
Honestly my first search was "oz in gallon", then I tried this just to give it another chance...

Chat GPT and even Gemini had no problem knowing exactly what I needed:

For the haters of AI results in google this is a case where I (would) love it. Obviously I hate that this is all built on my simple inability to remember basic grade-school math... but whatever

I think that was obvious. Question was why it translated this way and not vice versa.

Which I think the answer to that is simple, it wasn't clear enough.

AI is AI, and programmed to understand human language. Google shoots out your exact command.

SD Said all you need is a EDU email. That being said, I'm not sure if it's just a one-time sign up where you can buy one off of eBay or you need one constantly.

Ask it to build a (pdf?) scraper program then you can run it as many times as you want locally.
Easiest language to get a frontend made without having to do anything is in JavaScript just ask it to make it into a webpage.
I'm sure JavaScript has scraper libraries it can use.

My (very large) employer has business/enterprise versions of both copilot and chatgpt available to employees.
