Stop over on way back from israel with little kids (Maybe Nice)

Looking for advice. Possibly going to be going to Israel in August and looking for a place to stop on the way back with little kids (1.5, 5, and . Was considering maybe Nice as it has beaches and kosher food. Open to other alternatives. Also open to people saying I am being dumb and I should just go to e beach for a few days in Israel.

I'm all for your second opinion. Israel is packed to the gills with a million and one things to do. Also, no prob of minyanim/kosher food...

Why’d you’d choose Nice of all places? It isn’t on the way either since there aren’t (AFAIK) any nonstops NCE-NYC and your only option TLV-NCE direct is EasyJet. So you don’t be able to book NYC-TLV-NCE-NYC.

Aren’t you better off either staying in Israel or booking NYC-TLV-<another stopover destination>-NYC?

There are direct flights from israel to nice and from nice back to ny.
