I picked up a book for DW in 770 last night, and started reading it (had a hard time putting it down, but eventually did half way through as it was getting really late).
I think it is fascinating, very well written (with the exception of Yiddish spelling for the sporadic Yiddish expressions which is terrible) and almost anyone can find extremely eye opening. It gives a very genuine insight into both Lubavitch and non-Lubavitch Chassidishe worlds and lifestyles.
It is written in Hebrew, so one does need to be comfortable reading in Hebrew (though I think I will encourage the author to publish an English version).
The perspective is extremely unique IMHO for various reasons, not the least of which is that it is written by a woman who followed her husband's journey to Chabad, at first with pure קבלת עול and later had her own persuasion. The stories of the family reactions, differences in perspectives, the things to admire about each of the worlds are very engaging.
