big mistake for republicans to reward them for there shenanigans. Let the majority of republicans say we are only voting for the one with the most votes in the private voting session and wait them out. Get interim speakers for bills that most be past.

I’m not a coder but I can totally relate to this situation like a computer program. Someone writes up a program called “how to run america” and the checks and balances and constitution and laws are generally running nicely and smoothly.

And then we hit a bug. What if no one agrees to a speaker.

 Clicking refresh and trying again will result in error every time until you fix the bug

The more I think about it, control of the house is imperative to them so that they can run committees, investigate what they want and prevent other investigations. But legislatively, they’re almost better off with Jeffries as speaker. There will be total gridlock, which I have to believe they enjoy, and they’ll have cover to vote against pretty much anything, including a joint aid package.
