That seemed like a side note. The main thrust of the article was giving background to the concept of avian flu, and explaining how it's usually spread during the migration season. It didn't die down over the summer this year as it usually does, and it's still in full force. They were noting that supply has been steadily decreasing, and a new migration season upcoming in the spring doesn't bode well for the short term future in the egg supply market.

-Egg prices come down a bit available at Kosher west and Bingo for $299 for XL the WIC ones are double in some stores

Was in a few large Jewish stores in Lakewood last night, all were between $3 and $4 for extra large. IIRC, $3, $3.29, and $3.99.
