That was a month ago. Costco has since raised the price to over $6. Still a relative bargain.

Wholesale prices for large eggs have dipped down from the mid 5’s to just under $5 per dozen so expect some very slight improvement in retail prices in the next couple weeks. Much greater relief could come Feb, with the holiday season done and supplies slowly building.
Wholesale is now down over a dollar from peak prices and this is being reflected in the lower store prices now being spotted in many stores.

So you paid nothing for a dozen eggs. Great deal, DDMS worthy IMO!

Aldi (Howel) was up to 3.99 Yesterday up from 3.15 last week - they removed the limit sign maybe they decided to just start making money on eggs instead of it being a  loss leader.

I lot more egg usage.
For the week of Pesach, it would be way more. Options would be "less than a case," "one case," "two cases," and "3+ cases."

I get that but what about an average week?
I get no "bacon" an eggs.  :)
What about omelets, scrambled, poached or any other types?
