I used them at Airbnbs. Even the best don’t come close to a high powered gas burner.

A lot of newer gas ovens have safety features that will not allow them to turn on when power is off.

Not on mine. The second the power goes off, the gas cuts out. When the power goes back on you need to press a button to confirm that the knobs are off before the gas will reopen.
