You cant expel someone who was elected because you dont like what he did or said. This would open the door for mass corruption. He was elected and the voter should decide if they want to reelect him in the next election.

The R's have been claiming the last election was fraudulent. Now we really do have a fraud so get rid of him. Our laws allow it in this situation.

Our laws allows the House to remove (or not seat) someone for pretty much any reason. The question is if it is a good idea.

I think that unless there is a clear policy regarding what is grounds for removal, it's a bad idea to remove anyone. And the policy should only be used for the future, otherwise you will have people making policy in order to get a specific person out.

There are levels to everything. For your own party to call for you resign then that level has been gone way over.

The Republicans think that the last election was stolen in terms of ballot harvesting and poll watchers misconduct, not for what the candidate did or said during the campaign. It is the voter's fault for not seeing through his lies. You cannot expel a elected member unless he or she violated a law which santos did not. He may not be ethical but he should not be expelled.
