If you want to go with the category of Mussarei Chazal, then is it a far leap to Aggadetah Gemara?
The Chofetz Chaim actually writes that the concept of K'melamda Tiflus was applicable back then and isn't useful now. Please read the original source: Likutei Halachos Sotah 21b
What an absurd thought to even think that the C"C essentially erases an open Gemara and Halacha because times have changed. He writes specifically on תורה שבכתב on which chazal say אינו כמלמדה תפלות.
He doesn't erase the Gemara. He says that we need to teach certain things because we no longer have the strength in Yiddishkeit we once did
It is not, but that is not what is being discussed.
He clearly puts it into a category of מוסרי חז״ל. This has nothing to to with learning Gemara and any insinuation otherwise is a horrific distortion.

Aggadeta?
I know some Modox places will only teach girls Aggadeta. I would assume that's based on their extension of the C"C's Heter
I do not think Rabbi Jachter is discussing aggadata but it’s a valiant limud zchus.
Whether he is or isn't, the facts on the ground are that a number of schools definitely teach more than agadeta.
