Big difference between single engine pistons (notoriously unsafe) and a small Jet which has much more safety features.

At minute 12:45 you could hear the pilot declaring an emergency landing & at 15:20 ATC is announcing “you can see him down off to your right“, at 15:53 another pilot is confirming what he saw.

A small airplane has crashed at Lakewood Airport off Cedarbridge Avenue with three people onboard. Lakewood Alerts has confirmed that all occupants are members of one local family.
The airplane appears is a four-seater Cessna 172M, and is owned by a Lakewood resident.
