extra UR points for booking tickets through their site?

also is it possible to book through them and use a diff cc?

i made a ticket for someone yesterday and they had the cheapest tickets available.

Also, any downside to booking from them (assuming they're the cheapest)? The only one I can think of is that you miss out on the 24-hour cancellation policy with Orbitz and some airlines.

so thats why i was wondering if there was bonus points to make up for that.

about the 24 hr thing - i had booked a ticket through the 15% off from citi thank you card and realized right away that i booked it for the wrong date. it was already night so i couldnt speak to someone. i had to make a bunch of calls until i got them to change it for me without charging.

in this case - booking through UR site.
i had checked kayak, citi thank you and orbitz and they ended up being the cheapest for the dates/times i needed

Booked my trip through UR to get the bonus as a sapphire card holder. I called sapphire when I needed to make a change within the 24 hr period after I booked and was transferred to someone directly in the travel department without having to go through many people until I got the right person. Only negative was that the price of my ticket went down significantly and they have no low fare/price match guarantee like other Airline/Online Travel Sites do. When I called them about it all they could do was cancel and rebook which is not cost efficient in any way. I have found UR to have the same prices as the other sites.

You couldn't cancel for free within 24 hours?

Let me clarify,  I was able to make the necessary changes within the 24 hr period. As far as the price, it went down a few days later. Continental

Only Orbitz would cover a price drop and only if someone else books your exact itin.

it didnt give me the option of using a different credit card.

I needed to make changes within 24 hrs when I booked through UR Travel and I had no problem doing so.

i booked through delta - however that was with the 15% off from citi thank u points.
but i guess that is considered an agency making the ticket
while UR is prob just a search engine so u should still get the 24 hr window.

delta told me that the "agency" had to call to request to get the fee waived to change it within 24 hrs.

in any case, back to my original q.
do i get bonus points for booking through UR if i only have chase freedom?
