Brussels Airlines?
« on: February 01, 2023, 12:41:19 PM »
I need to book a flight for my daughter who is in seminary and have the option of Brussels Airlines or Lufthansa for the flight from TLV to JFK.

Having just flown on ITA yesterday and seeing the decrepit state of their plane from TLV to FCO, I was wondering about people's experiences with Brussels Airlines. The price difference is negligible (<20) and the duration of the stopover is about the same, so if Brussels is not a decent airline I would rather avoid it.

I flew Brussels from BRU to TLV recently.  It was most comparable to Southwest, in my opinion.  Budget airline type.  No Wi-Fi, drinks for purchase, pretty tight seats.  Maybe it's better on long haul...

I second normathej. Recently flew JFK>BRU>TLV and back. The BRU>TLV route had a very budget airline type feel. (And I was officially in "Business Class"). However, I think that is standard for short haul European airlines, so I am not sure Lufthansa would be any better. I did find Brussels airport easy to maneuver, which is a plus for a seminary girl. Also, given the proximity to Antwerp, both legs will have a very noticeable frum presence.

The JFK>BRU leg was great, but I was in Business Class.

Thank you all - I took the advice and booked the flight through Brussels Airlines.

Q - How do you reserve a KSML? The Brussels website does not give me any options?
