Just redeemed (because I'm always scared I'll forget, and not worried about credits expiring)
550K - 1 x 25,000 miles, 1x $250 trip credit
400K - 1 x 25,000 miles, 1x $250 trip credit
250K - 1 x 30,000 miles, 1x $250 trip credit
175K - 1x25,000 miles
15k  - 5 Preferred Seat coupons (not sure what I'll do with them, but free is free)

now that its too late, should I have done otherwise? I'm disillusioned by SWU, and considering that on domestic flights I get upgraded a good chunk of the time...
(Just got upgraded, both seats on a 2 person reservation, 5 days in advance, 3 hr flight)

I would always take the miles because they are almost always worth more than the cash, and if you have that many loyalty points i would assume you are flying a lot with miles. Those 25k can be be worth as much as 3x even for domestic, i was just looking at 400 dollar flights that were 15k round trip

agree. I always took the miles over the cash, in the first three I took both.

Why didn't you select miles x2?

I think it grayed out once I selected it. Was tired and may have just assumed it...

See if you can get something through the eshopping (though I'm not sure what gold is worth).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Free baggage, preferred seating upon booking, main cabin extra upon checkin is not bad.

If you mean CC spend then it goes by closing date. eshopping should be within days, nothing to do with CC.

eshopping is totally separate from CC. You get points from shopping even if you use a different CC.

Definitely allowed twice.
15% rebate seems like a good option, though if you don't fly it goes to waste. Alas, it's going away after this month.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

As an AAdvantage® credit cardmember, you earn Loyalty Points on everyday purchases, which is a great way to reach AAdvantage® status and Loyalty Point Rewards.

With a few months left in the status qualification year, we wanted to make you aware of a change we’ve made to reaching status with your AAdvantage® credit card.

What has changed?

The Loyalty Points you earn on AAdvantage® credit card* purchases between March 1 and the end of February of the following year count toward the current status qualification year.

This means you can earn Loyalty Points through February 29, 2024, instead of your last statement close date of the qualification year.

What will this look like?

As an example, if your monthly AAdvantage® credit card statement closes on March 5 (which includes purchases posted to your credit card account between February 6 and March 5), all the Loyalty Points earned from purchases made between February 6 through 29 will count toward 2024 status. All Loyalty Points earned between March 1 and 5 count toward the 2025 qualification year.

It may take up to 8 – 10 weeks after March 5 to post to your account, in this example.

What happens on March 1?

The new status qualification year begins and your Loyalty Point balance resets to zero. You can then begin earning toward status from March 1, 2024 – February 28, 2025.

Oh well. I'll go with tired. We'll have to work hard and hit 750k then.

I stand corrected. (Coming from a person who is Exec Platinum and is unsure what it's good for). I guess I'll do my next AA spend in March.
