do you live in EY? its seems to be a standard feature there
I'm doing rough plumbing now, should I pull a hot water line to the toilet?
No need, the bidet heats the water.
Dedicated freshwater line needed ?Shabbos implications?
No, you connect it to the toilet water line. Problematic for Shabbos of course, I plan on unplugging it before Shabbos. The cheaper non fancy non electric ones are permissible for Shabbos.
So I guess a tank fed hot water bidet + amnon18 might allow you to use it for shabbos?...So we do need a power line?
Lol. It's all electric, all the features, remote etc. You sure need an outlet close by.
I've had a bidet since the toilet paper pandemic. IME hot/warm water is unnecessary - it's nice to have, but I find myself using cold/room temp water more often than warm. I have this one and we're happy with it. So much so that after going on vacation to a place that didn't have a bidet, I've been contemplating getting a portable bidet. https://luxebidet.com/products/neo-320
Yup, am addicted to my bidet.
I'm no plumber, but wouldn't putting in a dedicated hot water line result in scalding hot water?
I have a non electric $30 bidet and it’s great. Pushed off getting one for a while bec I had no outlet but the cold water is just fine.
