Does it shpritz out if the kids play with it?
Lol yeah - a new wrinkle to toilet training. (We only have it in the master bathroom, so kids arent in there unsupervised often.)

I think the more expensive ones are only activated once you sit down so no shpritzing possible.

I've had a bidet since the toilet paper pandemic. IME hot/warm water is unnecessary - it's nice to have, but I find myself using cold/room temp water more often than warm.

I have this one and we're happy with it. So much so that after going on vacation to a place that didn't have a bidet, I've been contemplating getting a portable bidet.

Liked it better than fancy ones. Heated water/seat is overrated and can make the whole bidet unusable on Shabbos

+1 to all of this. Have this one. Wouldn't change a thing.

I have one for the past 4 years bh.
People without it can't imagine the huge quality of life improvement.
I have one that is without electricity. Was around $65 and replaced once in this period. Has warm and cold. Shabbos, you just use cold.

I bought this cheap one, https://www.walmart.com/ip/LUXE-Bidet-W85-Dual-Nozzle-Self-Cleaning-Bidet-Attachment/498327242?athbdg=L1200
and then bought this to help with the very young kids, (my 6 year old now uses it without getting the bathroom wet...) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FPYIK6M?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
 or https://www.amazon.com/T-adapter-Shut-off-Winged-Connector-Chrome/dp/B076PV13QX/ref=sr_1_1?crid=20WPNRM6MB4BV&keywords=luxe+t+adapter&qid=1675777826&s=industrial&sprefix=luxe+t+adapter%2Cindustrial%2C76&sr=1-1
these control the water flow, so if you have it completely off nothing will happen when they turn on the bidet. usually very young children wont realize why its not working...
