Fruit tree- what's considered one?
« on: August 11, 2024, 11:48:41 PM »
I by mistake thought this was a weed in my backyard but when looking closely I saw green berries and from Googling, it seems to be a black nightshade plant that produces berries that seem to be edible once ripped. I didn't take it off completely, but may have somewhat uprooted it- I'm worried it may considered a fruit tree? 😳

You can read this.

First of all, is that even considered a tree L'Halacha?

You should definitely AYLOR, since there is Halchaic dispute whether or not a tree is considered a fruit tree & ontop of that there's lots of different minhagim that guess way beyond any written Halacha.
