Gyms while traveling
« on: February 17, 2023, 11:01:56 AM »
If you travel longterm what do you do about exercising?

Some cities or countries it's difficult to find a gym - a lot require 3-6 month minimum commitment.

In Bangkok for example, even the cheapest gyms I could find are around $90/month which is crazy since it's more than most USA gyms even!

You can go jogging. Some public places have exercise equipment set up. I saw this in a public park in Bangkok (Sukhumvit). Same in Phuket and Saigon.
You can also ask in a hotel if you could use the gym for a fee...

Instead of traveling by vehicle, you can go by foot (or if you want to cheat, by bike). That way you have done all your exercise before you get to your destination.

About half a year ago, I signed up to cross-jump roping. It's great. Run by a great guy from Teaneck who really acts as a personal trainer (will give you private sessions, sends daily messages to you, etc), 30-40 live classes weekly, and thousands of records classes. Jumpintoshape.fun
Feel free to reach out to me if u have any questions.
