Direct Trip for 4 to Israel
« on: February 20, 2023, 12:45:17 PM »
Hi Dan,

I am trying to book a June trip to Israel for 4 people, 2 adults 2 kids. I
have 450K chase rewards. What do you suggest I do to maximize the points?
We only prefer direct flights. Do you suggest booking now or waiting?
and do it on the chase rewards portal?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to DDF.
On one leg:
Assuming you have transferable points (by having a Sapphire preferred/reserve or Ink preferred), I’d check the direct options on Elal through Etihad, Delta through Virgin Atlantic/Flying Blue, or United on their own website or through Air Canada. Then I’d compare them to the points price when booking through the portal. Remember, if you have the points spread out over multiple cards, you’d want to combine them to the card that gives you the best value.
