I do this all the time. Call up Chase card benefit services and ask them for the Letter of Coverage for your card. I have Sapphire. They ask for your card number and that has to be the one paying for the rental car. These are usually good for 60 days. I call (800) 348-8472‬‬‬ and at the prompts hit 1 and then 1.

I just checked- the number is correct but the instructions afterwards and prompts changed. Doing it now for myself.
