When can I open another new credit card and from which issuers?
I opened the following cards...
1. Oct 2021: American Express Gold Delta SkyMiles
2. Jan 2022: Chase Freedom Flex
3. March 2022: Chase United Business
4. May 2022: Chase IHG Premier
5. Sept 2022: Chase United Gateway
6. Oct 2022: Chase Sapphire Preferred
In January, I applied for the Citi Premier. My application was rejected due to:
- a high amount of unused credit compared to your available credit lines
- your credit report shows too many bank or national revolving accounts
My credit score is over 800. I've got spending to do.
When can I apply again for a card?
Are there issuers who would be more open to accepting my application? I'd be happy to collect a bonus on a new card from Citi, Capital One, American Express, Discover, or even Chase.
