codes were always supposed to be $20 off $30 but for a very short time it was showing $30 off $30 before the mistake was corrected

I am a new postmates customer (and never ordered from them). I got an email with a promo code and applied it to my account. So far so good.

Then I shopped at Target for $30+ of groceries and tried to check out. So far so good.

The discount showed right up until the very last screen. So far so good.

I submitted the order on my PC, but when it was processing the order, I got a message saying that the coupon failed. Yikes! It went back to the checkout screen with my new order total showing no discount.

I guess the good news is that it did not submit the order without any discount.

I tried adding the coupon to the order and it won't allow me to.

I even tried placing a Season's Express order (including slurpee gift cards) and it failed similarly.

Any thoughts of this? The terms on the coupon:

The restaurant I'm ordering from (not many options where I live) inflates the prices on delivery apps. After all the fees, even with $20 off, I'm only saving $2 vs picking it up from the store. But I guess you could call that free delivery.

Yeah similar here but you can save more with free Uber money from Amex, buying Uber cash at a discount, signing up for Uber one $10/month (10% off deliveries, no delivery fees and 5% off rides). And of course these promo codes which are sometimes more lucrative
