Most email providers have an attachment size limit. Additionally, most of them don't allow you to send/receive executable files.

Is there anything out there that would extract all the files from many folders and subfolders and put them all into one place? I have hundreds of folders, some with one file inside and some with many files. I want to get all of the individual files and put them all into one big folder. Does something like that exist?

TIA!
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

When I've wanted to do this for photos, I did a search for "IMG" in the relevant folder and cut/pasted all the results into one folder. If they don't all have the same extension, you can do a generic search for common letters, like "a", "e", "i", "o", u", etc, and you should get all the results after a few searches.

You can simply search in the root folder for * which finds everything. Then (with View set to Details) sort by File Type, and selected everything (Shift+Select) except the File Folders. Copy and paste.

For some reason when I was searching in the root folder it was giving me results from across the whole drive, so both options of doing a search it seems would not help.

Gotta figure out why that is, since this is obviously not expected/typical behavior.

That is what the root folder is. If you want to only look in one place then check there.

By root folder, I meant root of the subdirectories he was looking in, not drive root.
