Volunteer opportunities for the war?
« on: October 16, 2023, 12:30:43 PM »
I - and likely many others - have days from our job that we can use to volunteer. Anyone have any ideas what organizations could use a full or half day help from volunteers for the war effort? (Cannot be a religious organization like a shul, but most orgs in the effort would likely be approved) NY based
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

I know you specifically said not a shul but I just saw a flyer of an org packing and sending children’s clothes from Beth shalom on Broadway in Lawrence . Idk if shul is directly involved or it’s just the base.
Also big operation going on from a warehouse in Lawrence
