Order placed. Thank you everyone!
Looks perfect. I have a similar set of tools (different companies) and it's served me for the first 15 years of family life

The drill was the hardest decision. On one hand I wanted light and compact, and the other what if something comes up that the 12v Milwaukee can't accomplish. By investing the extra $150 I know I'll be set for the next 15-20 years, and not have to worry about a drill again. The other tools were a no brainers, just because I don't mind spending $10-$20 extra on top-rated/brand name tools that I trust. Why skimp out for something I'll be using forever.

You got the combo, and you will be happy with it.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

IDK what bettery you got with the Milwaukee. I would say you probably want a small one (such as 2ah) to keep it lighter (maybe in addition to a larger one for more heavy duty jobs). Also, I personally opted for a hammer drill + impact driver set, as the hammer drill can give extra functionality, while having all the functionality of a drll/driver.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Maybe I'll add a small screwdriver drill in addition on my next job.

So I guess this is the official tool suggestion master thread now lol

Any recommendations for a drill? Honestly looking to spend as little as possible, this will be used very very rarely.

Would electric instead of battery work for you? You can get them real cheap.

Definitely. A battery would be awesome, but I'd do electric for a real savings.

Walmart has super cheap options too, though I have no idea about quality. I got a Hyper Tough corded hammer drill from them for $7 on DDMS a couple years ago. It worked fine the one time that I needed it so far :)

Will it mostly be used for drilling or driving?

For driving, literally anything will work. Especially if you'd be using it rarely.

Just go to Walmart, Amazon, Lowes and HD search for power drill and simply sort price lowest to highest.

lol, 15 bucks. Seems to be the one for me ;D, let's see if it'll last the week.

This one is also available in my local walmart, unlike the cheap HD ones.

If it will only be used rarely then a battery will make it difficult. You are bound to find the battery empty every time you want to use it and eventually it will stop holding a charge altogether.
