Kids Scooter In Airport & Plane
« on: April 02, 2023, 06:30:40 PM »
Can our kids drive their scooters through the airport and check them in like we've done with a stroller? We are flying jetblue.

My kids have taken their scooters all the way through and onto the plane. The handlebars/post clicked out of the base and went through TSA xray and stowed very easily on plane. Think it was on UA and maybe another airline we did it as well. Not sure what official airline/TSA policies are on it though.

I'm not sure about JetBlue gate checking, but my kid scooted through a bunch of airports without issue, aside from one or two where we were told she can't. Depends on the staff and how much of a power trip they're on.
