My card with citi is 40 years old , maybe things have changed in 40 years? --- I even tried to cancel card by myself , could not do without other person agreeing -- and 2 show how simple and easy it was back in 1970 -- joint holder does not have a social or even lives in the states --- I assume today , can not get card without s.s.# and states address --I guess in the future will need to be finger printed to get c.c. --PROGRESS!!!

Of course things have changed in the past 40 years (my father and I were born... [not really, but almost])
But with chase any one of the 2 account holders can close the account without having the other one on the line.

I tried a year ago , told joint requires all owners to agree .

just ot off the phone with chase --- policy on canceling card still requires all owners to agree -- switching credit around "any" owner can do --so sounds like ur info is not the same -- i do not have time nor is it important enuf for me to look at t/c

I had the visa and changed it to the WMC and now I reapplied for the Visa but Chase doesn't have the application in the system. Could it have been bounced because I already have a Sapphire? Whats my immediate course of action? Should I quickly reallocate the existing credit on the WMC to another open card and reapply?

Can u still get a second Sapphire bonus by changing from Visa to Master card and reapply for visa?---

How long do u need to wait after switching from visa to master card ? to get visa with bonus , I thought I read that this was no longer possaible, hope I am wrong

All the links seem to stop working, you can't even get it on the master card website.

You can apply for it as a Visa and have them switch it to a MC.

What is the difference between the Chase Sapphire Preferred MASTER CARD and Chase Sapphire Preferred VISA?

I'm going to Israel soon, I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred visa. Isn't that the one I'm supposed to use there? Does it provide CDW car insurance in Israel?

Nope. Only the MC does. Call chase and have them convert it to a MC.
