I have personally seen engagement letter from Blackbirds current auditor. Just because DL goes on record saying something does not mean he is correct .

I confirmed with Berkower directly that Berkower never audited any financials of JS, despite JS claiming so. JS also wrote in his SEC filings that Berkower was auditing him.
I know JS recently hired a new auditor, but we still have no 3rd party vouching for the accuracy of JS’s claims of a 16% annual return.

Actually, JS never claimed that he was audited by Berkower. In 2019 he and Berkower signed a letter of engagement to audit their 2020 numbers, and thus they were allowed to list Berkower as their auditor on their FactSheet, PPM and from ADV. At the start of 2021, JS decided not to complete the audit. The FactSheet that contained Berkower's name was from the start of 2021. As far as I can tell, there were no lies or deception.

Furthermore, all of BB's performance figures are calculated by their 3rd party admin, not by JS as. DL would like you to believe. That's how you know his numbers are legit. The auditor is not needed to verify the accuracy of BB's performance.

1) On the Form ADV dated 3/14/23, JS was still claiming Berkower was auditing them. That's called fraud.
2) I asked his 3rd party admin to confirm performance and this was his response:

As of now, we have yet to see ANY 3rd party verifying that the claimed 16% return is accurate.

"Engagement letter" is just that, and nothing more.

You can call Berkower yourself and confirm they were never an auditor for Blackbird. Many others in this thread have done it.

Now its JS job to prove otherwise.

If you are insinuating that @moshe25 or @DavidLicht might have a financial relationship with BB, i can't imagine that's true. Why would JS hire people to dig him into a deeper hole?
