If you have a corp of any sort, speak to the bizz department, I opened a bizz account on verizon and att&t, and some of the options are way better than the consumer plans, it is a very different setup and configuration, but you can make it work. Data cards are much cheaper with the bizz plans as well.

(calling the 800 number for business will not do it for you, you need the plans that have dedicated agents. PM me and i can share some email addresses/phone numbers of agents I have dealt with)
It is all from Hashem and he will continue to give!

Am I retarded for even considering T-Mo?

Look at the plans (3G only):

When I was in the usa, it seemed that prepaid had $50/month for unlimited all, which seems cheaper than the postpaid rates.
If you want BB, and/or all lines in one plan, I guess that won't help. (I thought if say 90% of calls/txt are made by one person, it might be a good idea.)

@ Dan: can I be the new sprinter rebbe?

I feel bad taking parnosso away from sprint.

I still pay the tax part though... (Is there any state that doesn't charge this?)

Can you even get a BB data plan with prepaid?

BTW, you can also get a BB on (cr@ppy)  MetroPCS, also a limited selection of devices.

Prepaid is cheaper, but no sufficient BB phones/plans and possibly lackluster service.

Rural NV is cheapest IME.

It really boils down to whether 4GLTE and having your phone as a 4G hotspot is important to you.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Not really beneficial to me with the current data plan limits, hence my question:

With the recent news Dan posted on DDF homepage, I'm feeling it might be time for me to leave Sprint. I've been with Sprint for over 10 years, and my plan has become more and more expensive/restricted over the past 5 years or so. If the Sprinter Rebbe himself has bailed, who am I to stick around?
My current plan has a total of three lines/phones.
For my phone I have a BB. (I might want a BB with my ne carrier/plan), there's also an Android and a dumbphone.
I have 1,500 anytime minutes, I barely go over 500 though because of the following two lines:
Unlimited N&W minutes from 6pm.
Any Mobile AnyTime - free calls to any US mobile number with any carrier.
Unlimited SMS/MMS all lines
Unlimited data (is there any way to still get this with other carriers?), needed on my BB and the Android, not needed on the dumbphone. If no unl. is available, the 2gb will have to suffice.

I'm currently working for AT&T (being self-employed didn't work out so well). I'm pretty sure you won't be able to come even close to replicating what you had with Sprint. From what I've been able to gather, Sprint had a billing system that allowed people to get free service. I've looked in the AT&T systems and that is pretty much impossible from what I have seen.

No, that is not what I am saying. I am saying that if you are looking for any unpublished deals or anything close to what you had at Sprint with AT&T, it is highly unlikely.

Didn't end up doing anything yet. I haven't yet decided if I want to risk going to T-Mobile (Anyone with T-Mo in NYC care to weigh in on that?) or I should stick with the big boys. If it's between AT&T or VZW, then it'll probably be VZW as I'm confident I can get hooked up there.

No personal experience, but CR does their rankings based on surveys and tests...
The 3 columns are for Voice, texting, and data.

Please keep us posted as a lot of people are getting out of their sprint contracts thanks to Dan!

AT&T is worse then sprint in coverage? This can't be right, at least not where I live.

Obviously there will always be places where a carrier (well besides VZW ;) ) will have a dead-zone, but that's based on the survey responses of tens of thousands of people.

IIRC TMobile's coverage in CH has been discussed here before and described as dismal, unless something has changed since.
