@jj1000 It would be great to have notification filters by category, importance ETC. (Price mistake, flight deals, credit card deals, alive again)

The ability to hit a link direct to Amazon/walmart app without using a browser. Idk if that's possible but would be a great feature for those with a smartphone and browser blocked. Also not sure how that works with affiliate tracking when purchasing through an app...

Also, filters by keyword, so I can choose to get notifications for certain custom filters I create.

FAQs. The same questions get asked a million times on DDMS. (General DDMS idea - ask a user feature. There are tons of people who will never actually join DDF who ask questions, and plenty of helpful and knowledgeable DDF regulars who are happy to answer. Can be a feeder to build FAQs.)

Built in page with DDF notifications, even if it redirects to a browser to see/read details.

I think the basic answer to why make it is for convenience.

It's much more convenient to have a dedicated app for something you use a lot.

+1. If I understand correctly, Amazon affiliates still get paid when links are opened in the app, but I assume DD would have to give up on the data from tracking links.

I imagine this would benefit DD as much as the people using it, because without direct links, those with no browser would probably just copy/paste the item name to the Amazon app, and then DD doesn’t get their commission.
