Water, water and some more water! Works wonders. I have IBD and used to be sick every Pesach. The Matzah would cause constipation and that started a cycle. At the advice of a friend I started drinking 3x the amount of water I drink regularly and it works like magic.

And believe it or not, there are some who feel better with less stomach issues during Pesach.

Eat the matzah with something to help it go down easier: butter, cream cheese, jam, salami, egg salad, tuna salad, are all good choices

My seder is going to be so much easier this year :P

All-purpose constipation advice. The second line is nogea to the year but not really Pesach.
The more liquids and veggies you eat, the better. If you have soup five times a week, you can have plenty of matzah (if you don't overdo it).
Agav, you can do a natural reset by eating only fruit and veggies for a week or so (and wash on sprouted stuff for your chiyuvim). This results in, well, flushing your system (how it sounds), and after that you can go back to a regular diet.

There's limited to no scientific proof regarding probiotic supplements

My father, a pharmacist of 30+ years doesn't believe it helps nor does a GI friend who has scoped thousands and is an expert on collitis, he doesn't believe they survive the journey to the intestines.

Another GI friend who said I might see relief said "i don't know If it will help but it won't hurt"

What helps ;
Hydration yes but also miralax, specifically you can take miralax in the morning and evening

Fiber is critical but will make matters worse if you are constipated
Wine is dehydrating you and thus that and matza is hardening your stool like paroh's heart

For me, I use something called Ibgard that is little peppermint capsules and soothes your digestive tract

Warm water and lemon in the morning as suggested is also effective

Cheers and I'm back to my cave
