Amex offer for Upwork. 100 credit from 200 spend. Added hundreds of authorized users, set up a script to create separate online users for each and add the offer. Set yourself up as the client and the freelancer. many many times over

As a bonus I had an IRS audit the following year. It took a long long time and I had to prepare visual aids for the auditor to understand how this worked.

I made a book and uploaded on Amazon, got someone to write it on Upwork, and Amazon prints it out when someone orders it, very cheap and e-z way to make money.

A friend of mine recently "wrote" a Jewish kids book with ChatGPT, and illustrated it with Midjourney using ChatGPT prompts.
Took him an hour and he published it on Amazon that day.

A woman walked into my computer store/repair shop and asked to buy my landline, clunky, wired Bezeq phone. When informed that it was not for sale she insisted and made sure that we sold it to her. I charged her the price of a new wireless phone and we were both happy with the deal.

from my experience, I don't know if that will work too well i would rather invest $1000 for a writer and make back $2500 profit the first year.

Did you declare it as income on your return?

But what about the AMEX Offer? Doubt the IRS wants to hear that being a purchase rebate when you're buying it from yourself.

Made homemade “scratch off” lottery tickets in elementary school (by stapling 2 raffle tickets together) and sold them to my classmates, was pulling in good cash until the Rebbe put a hard stop >:(
Haha, that's awesome.

Made money in 5th grade selling bow and cross bows I made from mechanical pencils :))

BMG still owes me $$$ from the time they accidentally sent all winning scratch off tickets for Masmid Govoha program when I was in 7th grade  ;D

Reminds me of when I was in 7th grade and bought a stack of small but sharp pocket knives from the flea market for 25c each and sold them for a dollar at school. I presume my weapons were more lethal than yours because one of my customers cut himself bad and needed stitches. His mother called my father yelling about it but thankfully he felt that it was the boys fault for cutting himself…

Pretty sure that BMG was unaffiliated to Masmid Govoha. It was an Ira Zlotowitz program.

I don't think Ira is old enough to have run it when Dan was in 7th grade, you sure?

I remember those cards, still have some at @mom1000 place.

In 2014 Staples Advantage ran a promotion for Keurig coffee makers that retailed at ~$100 for $29.80. I purchased a whole bunch and sold a few for $50. The rest I kept and was handing them out as wedding gifts until a few months back when I finally ran out:)
