Credit Card Shutdown triggers for various banks
« on: May 21, 2023, 06:09:42 PM »
Having been shut down by Chase with no explanation, I don't really want to be shut down by any other issuers.

I think it might be useful to list various types of CC activities that could trigger shutdowns with various banks.

I was wondering if using a card for large MS transactions (1 or 2 per month) and bill being paid before closing (for personal) or before the due date (for business) is likely to trigger a shutdown with BofA, Amex, Citi or Cap1?

Does paying CC with cash at the ATM trigger shutdown at Citi or Cap1?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
