As I've posted elsewhere on DDF, my Target Circle subscription expired, and I was debating whether to renew or to do Walmart+. Members here recommended Walmart+, and I am in middle of working on verifying a WIC account so that I can get it for only $50, but it was taking some time. In the meantime, we needed a bunch of stuff, so I decided to just renew the Target subscription for a single month, and put through an order meanwhile.

I loaded up my cart with all the things that I needed, and since I didn't make a recent order, the total was about $320. I put through the order yesterday, and after it got delayed a few delivery slots, it was finally delivered this morning. I was quiet frustrated, especially since one of the items that were in stock last night was OOS this morning, and it messed me up for a deal of "buy $100 baby stuff get $20 gift card".

I called Target customer service to complain, saying that if the order had not been delayed I would've gotten the $20 gift card. They said that they can't issue a gift card, but will give me a $20 refund. Two minutes later they called back. "Sorry, but there was a technical error. We mistakenly refunded you the entire $320 for the order. But don't worry, you can keep the items and enjoy them for free!"

TL;DR: I got a $320 order for free!

Reminds me of something R' Berkovits told us once (may be a repost). Someone complained that the din on Rosh Hashana is set yet some professions appear to consistently give significantly more than others, and where is the din of RH? The Rav said Hashem is good at hiding this aspect of things (though in the Rav's opinion, He has been more blatant in recent years), but either way, you can't just look at one number - income - and assume that applies to the resources of a person. The $20,000 may have more money to spend and less expenses than the $100,000.
So I was thinking, what was the likelihood of a rich guy getting a free $320 order? Yet you hear stories all the time about people having a difficult time getting free food (not saying YitzyS is one of those).

Not to mention that in addition to the $320, he also got six likes.
