For something more traditional, yet not too big and bulky:

I use this style, very happy with it for needs similar to yours.  Can be found on Amazon as "Alpine Swiss Genuine Leather Thin Business Card Case Minimalist Wallet"
+1 love this

Didn't bite at the first sale?
https://www.dansdeals.com/shopping-deals/nomatic-mens-slim-wallet-just-4-shipped-16-off-code/

It took my wife buying me a slim wallet for me to get the hint. :D
Now if she buys me slim clothes I'll be in bigger trouble. ;D

Bought the Nomatic wallet during this recent sale. Using it with 4 cards in 1 slot, and 2 in the “quick access” slot. And some cash.

Pros - lightweight, barely notice it’s on me. For my OCD it’s amazing.

Cons - hard to fit bills in there, very cumbersome to use especially when there’s bills inside. Not smooth/easy to pull cards out.

Conclusion- I see the benefit of using a smaller/thinner wallet, but I need better usability. I have had my eyes on a Ridge wallet, but may try one of the knockoffs.

How many bills do you carry on you?
I have no problem with about 10 cards and 4 bills.

I keep my cash loose in my back pocket. But I'm Ashkenazi so I don't really do cash...

I usually don’t carry more than a few bills if at all. But when I do I find it annoying to fold it 4x and stuff it in and it still covers my easy access cards. Removing and using cash is also more time consuming but doesn’t bother me as much. Nomatic is really good at not being a pocket stuffer like a wallet, and really bad at being useful like a wallet.

My business has zero physical cash so it’s usually some cash I take out for cleaning lady.

Pros - lightweight, barely notice it’s on me.

Just after I got it, I would sometimes forget that I had it on me and think that I had forgotten my wallet at home...

You can tell her the slim wallet didn't reduce the number of active cards you have, and the slim clothes won't reduce the number of active pounds you have.

I have the regular wallet DW bought me in one pocket. License and cash. (bandaid, Tylenol- yes I'm that type of guy)
And the nomadic in the other pocket for cc's only.

Not sure why 4 bills would block card access? I have 10 cards and 4 bills in here and don't have an issue.

I'm not going to pretend it's as easy as a traditional wallet, but it's nice to go from a wallet bulge to forgetting it's even there.

It's physically in front of your cards, not that you can't access your card at all, it just makes it slower/more difficult.

I just grab those by the sides to pull out.

If you overpack it, with time it'll stretch, and when you have less cards they'll be very loose.

And you can just buy a new one then. They're cheap enough to replace every couple years if needed

Not sure what you mean exactly, but is it quick and just as easy as when there's no bills there?

I don't find the sliding motion to work either way.
I grab all the cards from the side (using my thumb and middle finger) halfway out, take the front one, or fan them out and select the one I want.

You guys got it all wrong, you open the tab and then access the cards, putting the cards you use more often the opposite way. Try it and thank me later.

(This way also gives you more leverage to push the cards out from on underneath)

It's officially up to 15, I have 15. Maybe they mean super thin cards? Not the biggest deal either way
