Is Dan getting a commission on all of these Amazon links?
As per forum rules, you have to post the DD affiliate link when posting Amazon links. I have the bot installed which automatically adds the code every time I click on Amazon. But some of the products posted here were possted in jest, probably without the intention of anyone purchasing, so I don't know if the affiliate link was necessary.

Saw this in action yesterday, cool stuff

https://www.rescue.com/products/traps/disposable-fly-trap/

Relative of mine put them around the perimeter of her property to minimize the flies in the backyard. Amazing how many flies can fit in, the bag was chock full.

Don't these things just attract more flies than normal?

hairspray freezes the wings.
Maybe you got some baby flies. My specialty flies don't seem to have such troubles.

The bug-a-salt is too bulky. I need a small pistol version.

Hands down best investment I have bought in a while.  Flies don't last long before shot.
I bought the bugasalt 3.0 with the laser and it's a 95% chance within 1-2 feet it's going to be shot and killed.

Using the laser they tell you to practice on a peice of silver foil to adjust the laser to be dead on.(seeing where the salt pellets hit) laser on, cock and pull back the handle you used to cock, salt fored and fly dead.
Works like a charm. Moths and lantern flies have their wings blown from them.(I do feel bad a bit.)

And for the hard shelled creatures. Water bugs, spiders, and bigger insects that's where my Co2 pressured gun with ammo comes into play. It's a great toy.
Bought a few hundred rounds and some Co2. Don't use it all to often but boy it's powerful. I leave my gun lying around and use it when necessary.(has to be easy to access.) I think my wife likes the salt guns more than I. Lol

But seriously at first I'm like at $50 never. And the Co2 powered one at $100. Fissure not. But after having it for a few months I am glad I bought it.

They even have 15% off site wide for end of summer sale.
Buy one for yourself and a present for someone who you know would enjoy one of these to hit the free shipping mark if need be.

$38 for one if you buy two guns. Buy the buddy deal which gets you $10 off and then 15% off with code.
Though its worth buying the laser. Makes hitting the target 100% easier. Without the need to go up close and shoot.

Best thing about this is the clean walls. While before this gun I had wet and smashed bug walls. Here. Dead fly fully intact. Just be careful for the salt overspray that bounces back. And yes i would rather have salt on the floor then flies roaming around on my food.

Erev shabbos there's fresh Challah on the counter, flies hovering and over them. Salt gun comes out and bam, challah is intact and challah has fresh granules of salt. Which is totally edible.
Don't have to worry about salt going into your food. It's kosher and real salt.

I used to have to smash my shoe on it and make marks all over my walls, missing it 50% of the time and then be busy cleaning the guts.
Mess free and guaranteed results with the 1st or at mist 2nd shot.

If you want to have fun. Bring the fly into the bathroom and try hitting it while flying. Probably take you 15-20 shots. But if it's resting it's done.

Probably totally useless against fruit flies, right?

Cocking is a pain. After multiple cocks one after the other you get muscle aches.
