Capital One price match: will they match "creative" prices?

There are all kinds of tricks out there to get a good airfare, some of which are "creative."

I'm guessing that the Capital One portal will refuse to match most "creative" methods, even if they are legal and available to the public.

Is that true? Are there notable tactics that Capital One has been willing to match?

Many creative ideas won’t be sold by them altogether for example no multi city

I use this tactic all the time and I have saved this year alone around $500 on this feature and have never had any pushback from the rep. the best thing is to get the cheapest price on google flights to match, and they will match it without any issues

I have had them price match to the cheapest google flights option which was some Chinese website

cause I always have credit from the last time I did it, so I use the credit and then they give me back the credit after I price match
