How to move Chase points to another card

I have a Chase Business card which I plan on closing.  However, I have 40,000 points on the card which I don't want to lose.  According to the card website, in order to move the points to another card, it will cost me $7.50 per 500 points plus a$30 processing fee.  Is there any other way to move the points without paying such high costs?

You should be able to combine those points with another card that earns Chase UR points at no cost.

Which card? Is it the Ink Premier? Or a cobranded card?

They didn’t say it was a UR card. And Premier points don’t transfer.

Do you have another Chase card?  Do they both have the same type of points? Ultimate Rewards can be moved from one of your cards to another of your cards.  Same name.  Choose 'combine points' not transfer.
If you can't do it on line, call.  If they can't do it, find out why.

This sounds like United Miles. Airline (and hotel) miles are not tied to the card and closing them should have no impact on the points. UR points can be transferred between UR earning cards for free but otherwise are tied to the card.
