 I can tell you that friends that ordered the Chase World MC and canceled it once they were charged the annual fee which meant closing the acct, still to this day get 1 bag free since the expiration date on the CC hasnt passed yet as I suggested to them.

Might as well get the Presidential Plus then, no?  Of course if everyone does it they'll just start verifying that it's active.

 the problem is its best using the skycaps less questions, I dont believe those guys will know the PP gets 2 free bags so I was afraid it would mean they would either send the person inside or check it and then they might find out its been cancelled

The skycaps probabaly know if someone shows a Chase card it means 1 free bag, I doubt they will even know the differnce between a CC and a DC. and 1 free bag they wont bother too much with , 2 on the other hand = more $$ being lost

Then again they do swipe the AMEX Plat card for the PC and it still works even if it's expired.

 it wasnt suppose to be swiped but CO was suppose to have some system taht was to make sure the CC was good

 Again I could only imagine the give & take that would go on with the Skycap since the PP should allow for 2 free bags but these guys who barely got out of the 6th grade (although they make $$$$ every year being SCs) wont beable to understand why everyone else gets 1 bag and why you should get 2.So all theyw ill do is tell you to check your bags inside if you dont want to pay for the 2nd bag

 what happens inside with a reg rep is the Gamble. I can tell you I had to jump thru hoops to get my companions bags on for $0. As a Plat Im allowed 3 bags up to 70 lbs as well as anyone on my PNR. So I telle veryone if what I was doing ws 100% legit and it was a hassle , I wouldnt chance playing with the PP and be happy that a reg CC will get you 1 bag free

when i 1st got silver status with bmi, i made a reservation with continental and put the bmi frequent flyer number. bmi is ganna cancel my membership. so should i change the ff # to my one pass continental # before they cancel my membership?

i sent a fax to Delta (i opened a new account) asking them to match my BMI status i just checked my account and they upgraded me to Gold Medallion® | Sky Priority. it took three days.

I'm not sure about Delta, but I know that matched status on CO if done 01/01/10-06/30/10 lasts through 02/28/11.  If done 07/01/10-12/31/10 it lasts through 02/28/12.

1) i did not want to wait another month untill asking for a status match i was afraid that delta would not accept bmi if too many peopl did it.

2) all i did was send a fax with all my info and a copy of my BMI card to delta. i did not call or email

I'f im Co silver now getting it 2 months ago, and get up to gold after 7/1/10 does it then change exp date to 2/28/12?
