Has anyone considered whether permission should have been obtained from the organizers in advance of a live broadcast such as this one? I am not entirely sure that DansDeals may promote or claim rights to such a broadcast this or any other ticketed event without an appropriate broadcasting or licensing agreement in place.I am not pointing fingers at JJ1000 for the broadcast. I enjoyed it very much myself. I am simply raising the issue for consideration.Mods: Perhaps this should be moved to the ethical questions thread as you deem appropriate.
Apparently I am a young man http://www.vosizneias.com/111091/2012/08/02/new-york-vin-editorial-lack-of-vision-by-agudath-israel-on-the-siyum-hashas
You are, no?
There's an ongoing feud between VIN and Matzav with Matzav often writing editorials bashing VIN. (Mainly a 1 sided fight). Here's their response to the VIN article. http://matzav.com/the-siyum-hashas-and-amaleikWhile they do have a point (and VIN had a point too - Eilu V'eilu divrei habloggers hevel!), it's comical to watch Matzav eagerly lap up the opportunity to criticize VIN!
Eilu V'eilu divrei habloggers hevel!
Hands down the most incredible part of the Siyum Hashas? Maariv silent Shmone Esreh: 100,000 people in a stadium and you could hear the cars outside!! I bet that has never happened in the history of mankind. Unbelievable.
Is this jj1000's hand?
