Also, they sold suites to families who used maybe 5 out of 20. There are LOTS of suites so I bet they could have filled in another thousand or maybe even more.

There was tons of unused space on the field, they could have crammed in 100k+ seats.

+1. I assume they left open areas there for security reasons. For some reason, the entire time there were people wandering around the floor. I'm surprised they weren't more on top of only allowing floor ticketed people there.
There was a club box section near my seat that wasn't being used - with an empty patio of 20 seats or so.

Some of the suites are privately owned. Many corporations allowed u$e of there suites but I guess there were exceptions.
