Anyone want to carpool from Lakewood?
The Bus is $25 (and I think you need to register for that with Agudah).
Parking is $25 which can be split by carpoolers. Driving would be door to door around 1:20
PM me if you're interested

Taking a train would involve: Driving to Woodbridge for example, (45 min) taking a 40 minute train to Seacaucus ($20 round trip), transferring in Seacaucus to Metlife train ($4.50 round trip). = $24.50 + gas/tolls getting to Woodbridge

Some blog wrote up this possible way from Lakewood:
Quote
From Lakewood and NJ
if you dont want to drive the distance you can Park at Metro Park station off Exit 131  off the GSP. Parking is $5.  The train fare is $10 ONE WAY.Take a NJ transit train to Secaucus junction and from there a train direct to Metlife stadium. Travel time by train 34 minutes to Secaucus 8 minutes to Metlife Stadium. Here is the Schedule from metro park.
(Note it may be cheaper and faster to drive directly to the stadium but may take longer.)

Total cost is $25 and it's a shlep. It may still be quicker than the busses which are known for being notoriously long (many people spent 3 hours on the buses to Citi Field + time getting on/off the buses, waiting time etc.

So Lakewood people, what's the best way? Drive, bus, or train?

I don't know how to get from KGH to Penn Station, but from Penn Station there are a bunch of trains to Seacaucus where you can transfer to Metlife.

Pretty sure it has more to do with the Stadium contracts than being a Jewish event. I heard (not verified) that the stadium marks up all food 200%.

BTW, in my experience the quickest way to convert a Litvak is with a couple shots l'chaim! Before you know it they start davening Shachris Shabbos at 10am and top it off with herring, galla and a couple more shots...

Anyone going from CH (or from Manhattan by train) that wants to commute with me? I don't attend stadiums often, with ~100k Ka"H people coming, how long will it take me from when I get to the stadium to find my seat?

I'm presumably gonna go by train from Manhattan, seeing as how I'll be coming from LGA.
