Not if she was being a jerk and refusing to switch on principal. If she had a legitimate reason she didn't want to switch that's a different story. No mention of any in this hit piece.
How do you draw the line?
If she did not want to switch because she had an aisle or window seat, but a middle seat would not?
I have flown with my family and since we had an odd number of passengers, one of my daughters was in a middle seat next to someone else. She was asked to switch because a male did not want to sit next to her, but that meant she would not be sitting with the rest of the family. (She agreed to move anyway).
And what if the reason the woman did not want to switch was just that she did not want to move? Is refusing to move just for no reason being a jerk?
