When she came to Nigel's defense, Neria berated her for going along with it. So in the name of women's right she lashed out at a young teenage girl for sitting where she preferred.

Even so, it was seen by literally millions before the truth came out, and the vast majority of those will not see the correction. That narrative is set in their minds, added to the other false narratives that were spread over the years. IINM, ALL the news stories I saw about this so far mentioned previous times Hareidim not sitting next to women caused delays, specifying the famous incident that caused a big tech company to threaten to boycott El Al - when that delay was for all of 5 minutes, and the actual flight delay was for unrelated reasons.

I'm not familiar with the process but the way it works is you sign up, then for a while you can only rate (you can't write right away). I do have a friend who has write ability. @jj1000 if you want I can put you in touch with him to write one up with DD links and then we can all try and rate it..?

I don't think community notes apply to this kind of story. They are supposed to use unbiased factual sources. This is more of a he said-she said, you can't exactly pull out a 1000% factual source to counter her claim.

"An eyewitness has asserted" I think is more factual based on the link. I know it dulls down the response, but I think it's important not to get blowback for asserting "witnesses" and "verified", both which are not accurate descriptions.

I was thinking about this. What if we use the fact (which she concedes in a later tweet) that he ended up asking a female to switch with the male who was next to him. I think this is important missing context to the initial viral tweet that implies he doesn't want to sit next to females for religious reasons.
